ROUNDTABLE
Heartland Utility Roundtable
October 14th, 2026 | OG&E Headquarters, Oklahoma City
Midwest utilities are navigating a familiar tension: regulators and customers are pushing for greater reliability and affordability, while vegetation management budgets face the same scrutiny as every other line item. Ensuring budgets are deployed where they deliver the maximum risk reduction is critical, and to do so, good data is a prerequisite.
This event will be a focused, invite-only roundtable that brings together a small group of vegetation and operations leaders from across Midwestern IOUs to explore how utilities are using remote sensing to unlock budget, reduce risk, and demonstrate ROI to leadership.
The session is designed as a peer to peer conversation grounded in real stories from utilities who have made the shift to a data-driven approach to vegetation management. The goal is for this to be a candid, off-the-record conversation where utilities can hear directly from their peers about their experiences and leave with actionable insights.
Topics will include:
The 5 biggest budget unlocks utilities are seeing from remote sensing
How to frame risk spend efficiency for executive and regulatory audiences
Lessons from utilities navigating wildfire mandates and storm resilience goals
